For the last 20 years, The Sovereign Collection has been
the premiere gallery of traditional museum level fine art in
the Northwest.
Owner Robert Joki's passion for fine art extends to his love
of the sleek and powerful beauty of their very rare 1992
Penske PC-21 Indy Car.
Every nut and bolt of this Penske has now been restored to
as new, and returned to the first of it's three liveries --
the # 4 Marlboro Penske of Rick Mears. The history and
pedigree of this chassis is extensive, and spread between
it's three different primary drivers over the period of 1992
and 1993.
Roger Penske built 6 of these fine cars, but this example is
the only one that, along with it's original Chevy Ilmor "B"
engine, will probably ever go around a track again -- thus
making it truly one-of-a-kind.
The Sovereign Gallery Racing Team will run this amazing
car in exhibition -- in celebration of the Indy Car heritage ,
and for their love of the history of American Open Wheel
Racing.
